I realize it has been since November 2022 that we had our last newsletter. Wow - things have really changed since then! We found out in December that we were losing our regular meeting location at Royal Ridges with only a couple of weeks to move out.
We are very thankful to the church council at Our Saviour's church for allowing us to use their space while we researched a new home.
On Christmas, we rolled out a survey to our members and a great many of you responded to help us figure out our next steps.
Many thanks to our venue committee that helped us look for a new place. Thanks to: Bob Amsden, Liz Nevitt, Betsy Heffernan, Dan Ige, and also those that gave suggestions.
Drumroll please...starting April 19, we will be meeting at Aroma's - same day of the week (Wednesdays) and same time (noon). The cost of lunch will be $12.50 to account for the tax and tips. We are starting out with a taco bar that will have vegetarian options and toppings that change weekly.
RC2 race, May 6, is looking for parking attendants form 7:30-9am and road crossing helpers from 8:45am - 11:30am. Please email kellymun91@yahoo.com and I will pass along the info to our member, Cassie Bornick, who is helping to organize the volunteers.
Rotary Highway Cleanup, May 13, is looking for helpers to pick up our section of the highway starting at 8:30am and meeting at the Koro Road turnaround. If you are interested, please email Tony Dolgner at tonydd@charter.net Who knows what treasures we may find?
